ONLINE ORDERS
Delays
Our team processes your online order within 48/72 working hours. The arrival time of your package is indicated when you choose the delivery method during the payment of your order (from 3 to 7 business days depending on the time of the year). However, we cannot be held responsible for any excess delivery time caused by the carrier.)
Shipping costs
The minimum shipping cost is $15 and delivery is offered free of charge by Gourmet Sauvage for orders of $115 and over before taxes.
Gift certificates are excluded from the calculation to obtain free shipping . However, the value of a gift certificate is taken into account in the calculation to obtain free shipping when it is used.
The shipping costs cover the preparation, packaging and postage of the package. An order cannot be split to be sent to more than one address. Each transaction is destined to a single shipping address.
Only Quebec shipping addresses are eligible for free shipping promotions.
Shipping
Packages are delivered anywhere in Canada via Canada Post. You can choose between Expedited and Xpresspost (for an additional fee).
For security reasons, packages valued at $250 or more and certain packages containing fragile food products are sent to the nearest post office and not to your door or post office box. You will receive a notice from Canada Post inviting you to pick up your package. Gourmet Sauvage reserves the right to determine the type of delivery required for a package. We are pleased to offer this service to ensure that your package arrives at its destination in good condition.
Lost package
If your package has been lost in transit, please notify us by email at [email protected] within 15 business days of the order date. Our team will follow up with Canada Post. Canada Post has 10 business days from the date of the claim to find out if the package can be found or if it is really lost. After the 10th day, if the package has still not been traced, we will return the products to you free of charge or refund the order. The decision to refund or resend the products is at the discretion of Gourmet Sauvage.
Damaged or missing items
We pack your order with care to ensure that your purchases arrive at their destination in perfect condition. If you receive a damaged item, or if an item is missing, please send us an email and a picture to [email protected] within 5 business days of receiving the package. Gourmet Sauvage will refund the value of the damaged or missing item or reship it. The decision to refund or reship products is at the discretion of Gourmet Sauvage.
Gourmet Sauvage is not responsible for products damaged by cold or heat in mailboxes. It is the customer’s responsibility to retrieve their package from their mailbox as soon as possible in cold or very hot weather to avoid any damage.
Defective goods
If one of the items ordered is defective or does not meet quality standards, please send an email and a picture to [email protected] within 5 business days of receiving the package. Gourmet Sauvage will refund the value of the damaged item or reship it. The decision to refund or reship the item is at the discretion of Gourmet Sauvage.
Returns and Exchanges
Gourmet Sauvage does not issue refunds on merchandise. If a product is not to your complete satisfaction, we may exchange it or offer you a credit note.
Exchange: Please contact us within 10 business days of purchase with the reason for your request and include your proof of purchase. The item must be in like-new condition and show no signs of use. In the case of books, there must be no scratches or blemished corners. Once we have received and inspected the product (S), we will send you an invoice covering the shipping cost of the new product (S). Once the invoice has been paid, your new package will be shipped.
The customer is responsible for the shipping cost of the item (s) to be exchanged and the new item(s) to be shipped.
Credit Note: Please contact us within 10 business days of purchase with the reason for your request and include your proof of purchase. The item must be in like new condition with no signs of use. In the case of books, there must be no scratches or blemished corners. Once we have received and inspected the product (S) we will send you a credit note that you can use online store or at our store in Mont-Blanc.
**We do not exchange or issue credit notes on food and cosmetic products.
**This policy is not applicable on final sale products ( the information is indicated on the product sheet when you add it to your cart).
Error in entering the address by the customer
It is the customer’s responsibility to enter a valid delivery address. If an error is made entering the address, the additional costs for returning the package will be charged to the customer.
If the customer decides to cancel an order already shipped to an incorrect address, Gourmet Sauvage will refund the customer once the package is received at Gourmet Sauvage, minus a 15% handling and restocking fee.
On-site pick-up
Pick-up service is available during our business hours as indicated on the CONTACT page. When processing your order, please select the pick-up option.
Canceling or modifying an order
To cancel or modify a current order, please email us at [email protected]. If the package is not shipped, the order can be changed. If your order has already been shipped, please refer to the Returns and Exchanges section.
Availability of items
Gourmet Sauvage does not guarantee the availability of the products offered on the gourmetsauvage.ca website. Gourmet Sauvage will not be held responsible for any damage suffered due to stock shortage.
BOUTIQUE
Returns and exchanges
Gourmet Sauvage does not issue refunds on merchandise. If a product is not to your complete satisfaction, we can proceed with an exchange or offer you a credit note (to be used in store or on the online boutique), within 10 working days, upon presentation of a proof of payment.
The item must be in like-new condition and show no signs of use. In the case of books, there must be no scratches or blemished corners.
**We do not exchange or credit food or cosmetic products. This policy does not apply to final sale products.
WORKSHOPS IN THE FOREST
Classes are given rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel the activity; you will be notified 24 hours in advance and will receive a full refund.
If you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so a minimum of 14 days prior to the course (a 15% fee will be applied). We do not issue refunds outside of this time frame. We will only be able to offer you a date rescheduling if we are able to fill your spot from the waiting list.
WEBINARS-ONLINE TRAINING
You have a 10-day grace period to obtain a refund of 75% of the registration fee. No refunds will be issued outside of this period.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates are valid for an unlimited time on all products (online store and Mont-Blanc store) and are not refundable. Gift certificates can only be used on one transaction, if a balance remains, it will be forfeit.
If you have a gift certificate for a workshop and you were not able to reserve it , you can use it to purchase products on our online store or at our Mont-Blanc boutique.
The value of a gift certificate does not count in the calculation of free shipping when it is bought . However when it is used, the value of a gift certificate is taken into account when calculating free shipping.
TRANSACTIONS ON THE SITE
Gourmet Sauvage reserves the right to refuse any order placed on gourmetsauvage.ca. At our sole discretion, it is possible to limit or cancel the quantities purchased. In the event of an order change or cancellation, we will contact you by email and/or at the billing address or phone number provided at the time the order was placed.
Restrictions on Use
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, translate, upload, post or transmit any material for commercial purposes without the prior written permission of gourmet sauvage.ca.
ALLERGIES AND INTOLERANCES
Gourmet Sauvage is not a certified allergen-free establishment, but no allergens except mustard are present in the production areas. Rigorous cleaning of equipment is performed when we produce mustard to avoid cross-contamination.
Gourmet Sauvage is not responsible for allergic reactions caused by its products. All Gourmet Sauvage products are safe, but we recommend that you follow the consumer guideif applicable and that you consume them in moderation if it is your first experience to validate that you are not allergic or intolerant to these foods.
