This knife crafted by Opinel is specifically designed for picking and cleaning mushrooms.
The sharp, curved 2 3/4-inch stainless steel blade neatly cuts the delicate mushroom stem, and the natural bristles attached to the handle allow you to brush off soil and impurities. Its rounded teeth on the back are used to remove the cuticle (the outer layer) from the cap.
The varnished beech handle resists moisture. The ferrule includes a locking ring that prevents accidental opening or closing of the blade.
