For 30 years now, Gourmet Sauvage has been showcasing boreal gastronomy through the harvesting of wild plants and mushrooms and educating the public with its forest workshops. Founded by Gérald Le Gal, a pioneer in his field, then taken over by his daughter Ariane and her husband Pascal, Gourmet Sauvage is a family business with the primary goal of reconnecting people with nature.

About Us
We offer over a hundred wild products handpicked across all Canadian regions and artisanally processed in the Laurentians. We aim to bring the forest to your table with the utmost respect for our natural environment.
Our vision is of a world closer to the forest. We believe food is an extraordinary pretext to bring people together and that rediscovering what was our first pantry can lead to a better understanding of our relationship with nature.
Come visit our shop (year-round) and our café (seasonal) or participate in one of our forest workshops. We are located on a charming site accessible by car and from the P’tit train du Nord bike path in Mont-Blanc, in the Laurentians.
