The intense perfume of the wild rose is revealed in this artisanal syrup, evocative of the shores of the St Lawrence near Kamouraska where the harvest takes place.

Ingredients

  • water
  • wild roses
  • citric acid

An exceptional artisanal syrup

Wild rose syrup is made from wild rose petals which are harvested five at a time by closing your fingers around the flower, leaving the center of the flower to bear fruit.

It is a tedious harvest compensated for by the heady aroma of flowers and the beautiful landscape and seascape of the St Lawrence.

From rosebush to the table, every phase is done by hand. We add sugar and a bit of acid to the petals to produce this entirely natural, fuchsia-coloured syrup.

Wild flowers at your table

This is an elegant and potent syrup. A tiny amount will modify a dish but you will love its perfume. In pastries or cocktails, wild rose syrup will enhance all your recipes.

  • Make a kir by adding to white wine
  • Substitude sugar with syrup in a cake
  • With yogurt and granola
  • In oriental pastry
  • With carbonated water and a twist of lemon
  • In fruit cocktails
  • On pancakes, sorbets
