With 19 years of experience managing Gourmet Sauvage, as a writer and host of a television series on wild foods, Gerald Le Gal has given more than 50 presentations over the last 5 years on topics as varied as biodiversity, the evolution of the alternative forest resources industry and the marketing of specialty products. He has addressed community groups and professional associations such as the Association for francophone scientists (ACFAS), has spoken at Montreal’s botanical gardens and at the International conference on wild mushrooms in Quebec City. He has been invited as a keynote speaker to conferences in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Manitoba and British Columbia.
