Who doesn’t have a souvenir of the extraordinary taste of wild blueberries picked in the forest on a hot summer day? It’s that taste of summer and that feeling of plenty that we have put in a jar, a sensation not unlike coming round a bend to discover a big patch of ripe berries.

Our artisanal syrup is a must for deserts but it also goes well with certain cocktails.

A syrup made with genuine wild fruit from our terroir

Our blueberry syrup is made with real wild blueberries handpicked in the Saguenay region. They are no larger than a pea and very sweet.

We cook them slowly with cane sugar and a touch of acidity to produce an artisanal product of the highest quality.

This syrup is an important part of our culinary heritage. It brings forth memories of a forest harvest or an afternoon in grandma’s kitchen.

Using wild blueberry syrup

Our artisanal syrup is great on ice cream, sponge cake or pancakes but keep some for the following cocktail :

Ginger and wild blueberry syrop cocktail

  • 45 ml gin
  • 30 ml wild blueberry syrup
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 4 slices of fresh ginger
  • Carbonated water

Crush ginger at the bottom of a shaker. Add other ingredients (except water) and mix with ice cubes. Serve in a glass with more ice and add carbonated water to taste. Decorate with a few whole blueberries.
